Your Home, Your Way

We offer two building process options so you can select the level of involvement you’re comfortable with.
Review each construction approach to help you choose the process best suited to you and your project:
In the General Contracting process, the Owner retains an Architect or design professional to develop plans and specifications. The Owner then requests a “lump sum” bid proposal from a professional General Contractor. After review and approval of the Contractor’s bid proposal, the Owner awards a lump sum contract to the Contractor. Learn more about this process.
In Construction Management, the Owner, Architect and Contractor work together as a team to complete the project within an Owner’s budget and time frame. Typically the Contractor operates under a cost-plus-fee agreement, rather than a lump sum agreement. The Contractor leverages his/her vast construction experience in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner benefits from competitive bidding of subcontractors as well as any cost savings resulting from value engineering. Learn more about this process.
